A couple of poorish photos of the same extremely pale Common Tern that was present for several days. This bird, whilst fairly easily identifable at close range, did an annoyingly good Arctic Tern impression when it was halfway or more across Stewartby Lake....

A montage of two very bad photos of a male Pintail on the sailing club bank of Stewartby Lake. The bird was initially seen from the gullwatch and (just) stayed put long enough to get a couple of photos as it flew back into Rookery. It is the only male Pintail I've photographed on the country park (so far...)

The Cetti's Warbler appeared briefly in bushes near the Marston Corner of Stewartby Lake. It was there just long enough for me to take three photos, in one of which it was perfectly side-on posed, but unfortunately that was the one photo that was blurred... :-( Green Hairstreaks are my favourite MVCP butterfly, this one was half way between the boardwalk near the visitors centre and the edge of Stewartby Lake.
