This male Bullfinch was at the entrance to bramble meadow near the pillinge lake. The bird was feeding just the other side of a bush from me so I managed to get the photos without spooking it. I was very pleased to finally get some decent photo of these normally very unapproachable birds.

A pre-roost gathering of gulls sometimes appears on the Long Meadow, this one involved perhaps more birds that normal.
